MetLife Foundation Grants $6.5 Million to Support Communities, Including Projects in Nepal

The MetLife Foundation has announced new recipients of its Community Impact Grant Program (CIGP), allocating $6.5 million to over 100 nonprofits worldwide, including initiatives in Nepal. The program focuses on key areas such as food security, mental health, environmental sustainability, and community development.

In Nepal, projects like Solucham’s AWAKE initiative and SOSEC Nepal’s SAFE program received funding to support environmental training and sustainable agriculture, respectively. Since its launch in 2023, the program has awarded over $9 million globally, benefiting around 1.6 million people and reinforcing MetLife Foundation’s commitment to building resilient communities and promoting financial well-being.
