Mero Microfinance to convene 7th AGM on Kartik 29, 2076; 30% bonus shares to be endorsed

The 90th BOD meeting of Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MERO) has decided that the 7th AGM of the company will be held on Kartik 29, 2076 (November 15, 2019) at Hotel Water Tower, Nuwakot from 11 AM onwards.
The agenda of the AGM is to endorse audited financial highlights of FY 75/76 and appoint statutory auditor for FY 76/77. The AGM will endorse decision to distributed 30% bonus shares worth Rs.19.73 Crore and 1.58% cash dividend (for tax purpose) worth Rs.1.03 Crore to the shareholders out of profits of FY 75/76.
The AGM will also appoint one director from the ordinary shareholder group. Further, the BOD will be provided with authority to take decisions regarding the merger and acquisitions.
For this purpose, the books of the company will remain closed from Kartik 20, 2076 till the date of AGM. Investors holding shares of the company till Kartik 19, 2076 will be eligible to claim the dividend and participate in the AGM of the company.
