Mero Digital Desh campaign of Esewa Money Transfer reveals Two-and-a-half-story house as Grand Prize
eSewa Money Transfer, which is receiving remittances from more than two hundred countries in the world, has revealed Bumper Prize, the house which will be awarded to the winner of the "Mero Digital Desh" campaign. The unveiling of the house was done by the Brand Ambassador of the company, superstar Rajesh Hamal and Brand Hero, popular actor Daya Hang Rai.

Nepalese residing in any country across the world can participate in this campaign by sending remittances directly to the bank account and eSewa wallet of the beneficiary using its services worldwide. With this initiative, the company aims to raise awareness about the benefits of digital remittance and promote the use of formal channels for sending remittance and its impact on the national economy.
The company has unveiled the grand prize for the winner of the campaign – a two-and-a-half-storied house built on an area of around 1026.75 sq. ft. in Imadol, Bojepokhari, Ward No. 4, Mahalakshmi Municipality, Lalitpur. Also, considering the overwhelming response of the customers, the company has decided to extend this scheme for two more months till 20th May 2023. Customers will be automatically enrolled in the bumper scheme when they send money through eSewa Money Transfer during this period. Esewa Money Transfer, along with their brand ambassadors Rajesh Hamal, Daya Hang Rai and Swastima Khadka; has been conducting series of engagement and awareness sessions in middle east in association with various Money Transfer Operators in UAE, regarding the importance of formal channel of remittance.
According to Mr. Ajesh Koirala, Chief Executive Office of the company, the campaign has been extended by two months to encourage greater participation from Nepali people living abroad and to offer more opportunities for customers to win. The decision to extend the campaign was made after considering the overwhelmingly positive response from the Nepali community living abroad. He said, “We hope that this extension will allow more and more Nepalis to participate and increase their chances of winning their dream house in Kathmandu.”
