Mega Capital Markets formally starts operation; Grand opening with promise the provide services via all Mega bank branches

Mega Capital Markets was formally inaugurated amongst a program on Baisakh 06, 2076 at Hotel Yello Pagoda. The program was graced by the presence of Chairman of SEBON, Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Chairman of Mega Bank Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah, CEO of Mega Bank Mrs. Anupama Khunjeli amongst many other distinguished personnel.

Mega Capital Markets Limited is a subsidiary company of Mega Bank Limited (MEGA) and has received approval from the Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Cahitra 18, 2075 to undertake merchant banking operations. The authorized capital of the merchant bank is Rs.30 Crore while the issued capital is Rs.20 Crore.

The merchant bank will be undertaking all activities related to the securities market like, share registration, issue management, investment management, portfolio management etc. as per the CEO Mr. Sudaykant Jha. 

Mrs. Khunjeli emphasized that the capital is committed to make Mega group a one-stop solution and in order to do so, they will be providing merchant banking facilities from all of the 102 branches of Mega Bank scattered all over the country.
