Mega Bank virtually convenes its 10th AGM; endorses proposal of 13.05% dividend to shareholders and clears way for further mergers and acquisitions

Mega Bank has virtually convened its 10th AGM for the FY 2076-77 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah on Poush 29, 2077.

The AGM has endorsed the  board’s proposal to provide 10% bonus shares worth Rs 1.33 arba and 3.05% cash dividend worth Rs 40.63 crore to its shareholders from the profit it had made in the previous fiscal year.

The AGM has authorized the board to take necessary steps to bring foreign strategic partners to further its growth and enhance banking services and to initiate the merger and acquisition process with other financial institutions. Mega Bank had acquired Gandaki Bikash Bank in the previous fiscal year and grew up as a more better financial institution, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 206 branches in 58 districts, 34 extension counters, 142 ATM booths, and 89 branchless banking units under its network.
