Mega Bank takes agro loan scheme to Damak in Jhapa; issue Kishan Credit cards to the farmers in association with Himsikhar Agro

Mega Bank has handed over Kishan Credit cards to the designated farmers at Damak of Jhapa district in association with Himsikhar Agro and herb Research.

The credit cards were handed over by the head of the agro and Micro Financing department of the bank Mr. Punya Prasad Khaniya, the province I head Mr. Bibekbandu Neupane, Damak BM Mr. Mohan Prasad Aryal who also provided financial literacy to the farmers.

With the new service, the bank will issue collateral-free loans to the farmers and issue QR enable credit cards to the farmers with a value equivalent to the loan amount so as to enable these farmers to engage in digital transactions, as per the media statement.
