Mega Bank initiates QR code-based payment at  Bishranti Agro Market in Jorpati; shoppers in Agro Mart can now make easy digital payment for their purchases

Mega Bank has initiated QR code-based payment system at Bishranti Agro Mart of Jorpati in Kathmandu where shoppers can now simply scan the QR code of the bank using their MoBanking service to pay for their purchases of agro products.

After the new arrangement, 80 sellers in the agro market have started accepting QR code-based payment for their products right to the bank account via MoBanking and Fonepay service, as per the media statement.

CEO of the Bank Ms. Anupama Khunjeli, and ED of the payments department of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Bhuwan Kadel, have jointly kickstarted the new service at the agro market amid a program, as per the media statement.
