Mega Bank holds AGM

First AGM of Mega Bank has reelected chairman of the bank Prof Dr Madan Kumar Dahal in the post unopposed. The AGM also elected Dr Duman Thapa from Sagarmatha Group, Prof Dr Govind Nepal from Gaurishankar Group and Bhoj Bahadur Shah from Dhaulagiri Group in the board of directors. Prof Dr Dahal belongs to Kanchanjungha Group. According to CEO of the bank Anil Keshari Shah, the bank posted net profit of Rs 24.3 million in the fiscal year 2010-11. It has collected Rs 8.17 billion in deposit and floated loan equals to Rs 7.41 billion. The bank with paid up capital Rs 2.33 billion has 42,000 clients in 13 branches spread across the country.
