Mega Bank Convenes 12th AGM; Endorses Proposal of Merger with Nepal Investment Bank & 7.79% Dividend to Shareholders

Mega Bank convened its 12th AGM for the FY 2078-79 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah on Poush 7, 2079.

Apart from the regular financial reports, The AGM has endorsed the special proposal to merge with Nepal Investment Bank in a share swap ratio of 100;90 while the new institution will bear the name Nepal Investment Mega Bank.

The AGM also endorsed the decision to provide 4% bonus shares worth Rs 64.48 crore and a 3.79% cash dividend worth Rs 61.2 crore to its shareholders from its profit in the previous fiscal year.

The bank currently provides services to its customers from its 208 branches, with 27 extension counters under its network.
