MBAN Meets New SEBON Chairman, Discusses Capital Market Reforms and Investor Confidence

Executive members of the Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta, the newly appointed chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), to congratulate him on taking office and express confidence in his leadership.

During the meeting, both sides discussed major priorities in Nepal’s capital market, including mutual funds, IPOs, and private equity, while stressing the need to improve investor confidence, transparency, and good governance. MBAN and SEBON also reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the sustainable and orderly growth of Nepal’s capital market.
