MBAN Concludes 16th AGM, Endorses New Plans and Leadership for Merchant Banking Growth
The Merchant Banking Association Nepal (MBAN) held its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 18, 2025, at Aloft Kathmandu. Representatives from all merchant banking institutions attended the meeting, which reviewed the achievements of FY 2081/82, endorsed the annual program and budget for FY 2082/83, and addressed current challenges and strategic plans for the sector.
The AGM also approved amendments to MBAN’s constitution and discussed policy measures to strengthen the role of merchant banks in Nepal’s capital market. Expressing gratitude to its members, MBAN reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, ethical practices, and sustainable growth of the industry. The event concluded with the appointment of new leadership responsibilities for the coming term.
