Market Roundup: NEPSE Falls By 22.12 Points to Close at 2,094.54 While Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 2.096 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,094.54 today after losing 22.12 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.04%. The index gained 4.97 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,118.56 and made an intraday high of 2,126.14. It went as low as 2,090.14 and ultimately closed at 2,094.54.

257 scrips traded hands via 39,642 transactions. A total of 5,898,903 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.096 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.767 Arba.

Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.13 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 512 per share.

Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit.

On the other side of things, Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) lost the highest 5.80% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Life Insurance" lost the highest 2.17% while "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.05% today.
