Market Roundup: NEPSE Continues Falling Spree, Fell 2.07% To Limit Intraday Turnover To Rs. 1.229 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,837.60 today after losing 38.81 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 2.07%. The index had lost 33.97 points this Sunday.

The index opened at 1,875.41 and went intraday high at 1,877.65. Then the index made intraday low at 1,833.55 and ultimately closed at 1,837.60 .

231 scrips traded hands via 30,135 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,856,538 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.229 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.601 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.65 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,210 per share. The shares of Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) traded the most.

Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) gained the highest 3.92% for the day.

On the other side of things, Kalika power Company Ltd (KPCL) lost all 10% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Finance" lost the highest 3.83% while "Others" and "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.98% each.
