Market reopens after Dashain! Minimal Turnover of Rs 6.38 Crore!

On the first day after Dashain vacation, the market lost 0.03% or 0.39 points and closed at 1149.01 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs 6.38 Crore, achieved through trade of 232,619 units of shares traded through 1,152 transactions and trading scrips of 121 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) dominated today’s trade with turnover of Rs.2.55 Crore achieved through trade of 94,664 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.270 per share.

Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 7.69% and closed at Rs. 140 per share. Nepal Seva Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NSEWA) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.63% or 14 points and closed at Rs.371 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.04 points and closed at 251.93 points while Float Index gained 0.03 points and closed at 80.79 points.

Life Insurance sector lost 0.89% today. Non-life insurance sector gained the most at 7.42%.
