 Market recovered at end to narrow its loss

NEPSE dropped 3.31 more points and settled at 881.04 level, compared to yesterday’s 844.34 points.

The benchmark index opened at 884.58 points this afternoon and fell up to 878.48 levels by 2 PM.

Then demand improvement in banking scrips helped narrow the market index loss within three points. However, banking too closed with loss of 3.38 points.

Among the remaining sub-indices, HydroPower and Hotels made maximum plunge today of 27.15 and 16.78 points respectively. Similarly, Insurance and Development decreased by 4.62 and 2.91 points respectively.

While, Finance and Others ended with gain of 0.08 and 1.17 points respectively.

The turnover today stood at Rs 243 million compared to yesterday’s  Rs 298 million.
