Market goes up by 15.62 points today closing at 1,268.68; The green brings in a turnover of Rs 55 crore

The NEPSE index today closed at 1,268.68 points going up by 15.62 points or 1.25%. Likewise the sensitive index went up by 1.12% closing at 272.98 points and the sensitive float index went up by 1.1% closing at 86.61. The total turnover today stood at Rs 55 crore with 20.64 lakh shares traded via 7,519 transactions.

The market has opened at 1,253.86 points and it steadily climbed throghout the day closing in green.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) had the highest turnover for today followed by other commercial banks till fifth position. Similarly, Civil Bank (CBL) has the highest number of shares traded, again followed by other commercial banks till the 9th position.

Similarly, the top gainer for today is Suryodaya laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SLBS). It climbed by 8.10% closing at Rs 721. On the other hand, Reliance Finance is the top loser for today losing 6.06% and closing at Rs 124.

The sub-indices table, today, was very green with all the sectors gaining.
