Market decreases by double digits; Closes at 1,194.80 points losing 15.29 points

NEPSE registered a fall of 15.29 points to end at 1,194.80 points today. The market had started at 1,210.09 points however the market lost 1.26% during the 4 hours’ trading period.
More than 6.21 lakh unit shares worth Rs 23.10 crore were traded during the day. The shares of 160 listed companies were traded through 3,623 transactions.
Promoter Shares of Nabil Bank Limited (NABILP) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than Rs 1.31 crore worth of shares was traded during the day. Similarly, Mega Bank Limited (MEGA) stood ahead in terms of stock traded by share quantity as 38,446 unit shares of MEGA were traded.
Aarambha Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (AMFI) was the top gainer of the day as the price of the share increased by 21 points and closed at Rs 459. Likewise, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SKDBL) was the top loser for the day as the price of the stock decreased by 7 points and the LTP stood as Rs 115.
Both the sensitive and float index decreased by 3.11 and 1.12 points respectively.
Out of the sub-indices, Insurance sector lost 78.07 points which was followed by Hotels losing 52.02 points.
