Market closes at 1,261.07 today gaining 0.08%; Turnover stands at Rs 36 crore

The NEPSE index today went up by 0.96 points or 0.08% closing at 1,261.07 points. The sensitive index went up by 0.15% to 271.44 points. The total turnover for today stands at Rs 36.47 crore with 13.24 lakh unit shares traded via 5,587 transactions.

The market opened at 1,260.22 points, and went up till 1,264.52 at the middle of the day and started falling. The market ultimately closed in green.

Similarly, the sensitive float index went up by 0.12% to close at 86.21 points.

NCC Bank (NCCB) had the highest turnover for today with total volume transacted today standing at Rs 2.53 crore. Similarly, Rairang Hydropower development Company (RRHP) has the highest shares traded with a total of 1.04 lakh shares traded.

The top gainer for today is Ganapati Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha, climbing 9.92% closing at Rs 432. Likewise the top loser for today is Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL). It lost 9.66% closing at 187.

Similarly, the subindices for banking, Hydropower, Non-life insurance, Manfufacturing & processing, Microfinance and Life insurance went up and closed in green. Whereas the subindices for trading, hotels, development bank, finance, others and mutual fund fell and closed in red.
