Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Calls AGM on Bhadra 20; To Discuss Right Shares Related Agenda

Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Limited (MEHL) has announced that its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Bhadra 20, 2082 (Friday) at 10:30 AM at Royal Durbar Restaurant & Venue, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
Key Agendas:
1. Discussion and approval of the company’s Annual Report for FY 2081/82.
2. Review and approval of the Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements for FY 2081/82.
3. Appointment and remuneration approval of Bharat & Associates as the company’s auditor for FY 2082/83 in accordance with Section 111 of the Companies Act, 2063.
4. Discussion and approval of the proposed rights share issuance.
5. Authorization to the Board of Directors to undertake all necessary actions with regulatory authorities, including the Electricity Regulatory Commission, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange, and the Office of the Company Registrar, for the issuance of rights shares and amendments to the Articles of Association and Company Bylaws as required.
6. Approval of capital increase and amendments to the Articles of Association and Bylaws.
6th Bhadra is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained till the 5th Bhadra are entitled to attend the AGM.
