Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd Leading Tax Contributor in Nepal's Tourism Sector

Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd, the pioneer cable car service provider in Nepal, achieved recognition for paying the highest taxes in the tourism sector in the financial year 2078/2079.

Manakamana Darshan received recognition at the 58th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries during which Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal presented a letter of appreciation to Yashu Shrestha, the company's sales and marketing director.

This acknowledgment was a repeat of the previous year's recognition of the company's tax contributions.

Over the past 25 years, the cable car service has operated from Kurintar in Chitwan to the Mankamana temple in Gorkha, significantly contributing to the development of Mankamana temple, Ichchhakamana in Chitwan, and Sahid Lakhan village in Gorkha as tourist destinations.
