Man arrested with 8 kg gold from Tatopani Customs
KATHMANDU:
A team of Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested a person with 8 kg gold from Tatopani Customs Gate of Nepal-China border in Sindhupalchok district.
APF identified the arrestee as Tatopani local Samten Dorjey (31), who has been running a business and residing in China's Khasa, across teh border.
According to APF, Dorgey had concealed eight gold biscuits weight a kilogram each on various parts of his body.
A border security police team under DSP Ramji KC arrested him as he was trying to enter the Nepali side from China.
Investigation is underway, APF said.
