Malakar, Shrestha in ISSME

KATHMANDU, March 31:

Two Nepali businessmen have been appointed in vital posts of International Society for Small and Medium Enterprises (ISSME) -- the umbrella organization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the world.

Surendra Bir Malakar, former president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and Pushpa Das Shrestha, vice president of Nepal Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industries have been appointed as the vice president and honorary national convenor of the association, respectively. ISSME was established in 2010 to unite SMEs from all over the world and promote them through capacity enhancement and transfer of success stories as well as skill and technology.
