Mahuli Samudayik’s net profit shrinks by 61.83%; EPS slides to Rs 24.63 in the fourth quarter

Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) has posted a huge decline in net profit by 61.83 % to Rs 1.47 crore in the fourth quarter (Q4) of fiscal year 2074/75.

Publishing the unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter today, the microfinance institution has stated that its operating profit also decreased to Rs 5.47 crore in Q4 from Rs 6.29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

The microfinance institution’s borrowing remains to be Rs 73.39 crore and has collected Rs 71.57 crore in deposits.

Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 1.55 arba in Q4 of FY 2074/75 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs. 1.21 arba.

It has a paid up capital of Rs 6 crore has Rs 15.07 crore in reserve and surplus.

Its non- performing loan (NPL) increased to 1.83 % in Q4 from 1.79% in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

MSLB’s earning per share (EPS) has decreased to Rs 24.63 in Q4 from Rs 64.53 in the previous year. Its net worth per share stands at Rs 351.19 and P/E ratio at 104.97 times.
