Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta earns Rs 2.41 crore in the third quarter; EPS and Net worth per share stand at Rs 53.75 and Rs 365.20 respectively

Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) has posted slight decline in net profit by 5.02 % to Rs 2.41 crore in the third quarter (Q3) of fiscal year 2074/75.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today, the microfinance institution has stated that its operating profit increased to Rs 4.13 crore in Q3 from Rs 4.04 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.
The microfinance institution’s borrowing remains to be Rs 73.75 crore and has collected Rs 68.62 crore in deposits.
Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 1.48 arba in Q3 of FY 2074/75 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs. 1.18 arba.
It has a paid up capital of Rs 6 crore has Rs 15.91 crore in reserve and surplus. It had announced 50 % bonus from the net profit of FY 2073/74 and 50% right shares to its shareholders. After bonus and right shares, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 9 crore.
Its non- performing loan (NPL) increased to 1.74 % in Q3 from 1.86 % in the third quarter of the last fiscal year.
MSLB’s earning per share (EPS) has decreased to Rs 53.75 in Q3 from Rs 121.27 in the previous year. Its net worth per share stands at Rs 365.20 and P/E ratio at 59.73 times.
