Mahalaxmi Life Insurance to come online from Magh 27 as 19th life insurance player; youngest member aims to rank first among its counterparts within 5 years
Mahalaxmi Life Insurance, the 19th and the youngest life insurance company of Nepal, is all set to begin its operation from Magh 27, 2075. The new player in life insurance business is also launching 3 new insurance policies for the customers, as mentioned in the media meet by the company.
The life insurance claims that the Mahalaxmi Double Insurance policy and Investment Return policy among the 3 all-set policies are the most innovative and different insurance policies ever launched in Nepal.
The company has received insurance board’s approval to open 13 branches within Falgun of the current year where branches in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Birgunj will be opened within Magh.
The company currently has Rs 1.40 arba as paid up capital and will soon issue IPO worth of Rs 60 crore for general people.
Mr. Manoranjan Raman Sharma is the chairman of the company where Mr. Umesh Lal Shrestha, Mr. Mohan Raj Joshi and Mr. Suresh Raj Shapkota as board members.
