Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank tries to clear the air about its recent controversy with one of its loan clients

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has issued a media statement to clarify the recent controversy as highlighted by a few media outlets about its reported conflict with one of its female borrowers from Lalitpur.

The development bank has claimed that the entire confusion surfaced due to some misunderstandings about the terms and conditions of the loan procedure where its client had earlier received a gold loan from the bank. The bank has clarified that the borrower has cleared all her outstanding dues on Bhadra 18, 2078 and the bank has also unfrozen her security deposit on the very date itself.

The development bank has also urged all the media to verify with the proper channel and source before reporting about the sensitive banking issue and has reiterated its position to providing quality service to its customers, as highlighted in the media statement issued by the bank.
