Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank (MLBL) Distributes Bonus Shares to Demat Accounts

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) has distributed 20% bonus shares directly to Demat accounts of its shareholders. The company has also urged investors to dematerialize their shares.
The 20th AGM of the company held on Falgun 13, endorsed 21.05% dividend to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 12 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 3.34 Arba. 20% bonus shares worth Rs. 66.84 crores and 1.0526% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 51.83 lakhs have been proposed.
The same bonus shares are now deposited to Demat accounts. Note that the shares are already listed in NEPSE. As of writing, MLBL has an LTP of Rs. 414.
