Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Marks 30 Years with Extensive CSR Initiatives
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL), celebrating its 30th anniversary, has conducted various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs under the slogan "Strong Bank, Successful Cooperation."
On the occasion of the 2568th Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Diwas 2081, the bank's Mahilwar (Lumbini) branch distributed free water and sweets to about 2,500 devotees. This initiative has been ongoing for 13-14 years to ensure access to drinking water for visitors.
The Dhangadhi branch contributed Rs. 150,000 to the Nagar Pramukh Educational Improvement Fund, supporting education for underprivileged children.
The Narayangadh branch donated Rs. 300,000 to Galeshwar Ashram in Devghatdham, Tanahu, to aid in completing the temple premises. The bank plans to continue various social and economic transformation programs as part of its CSR efforts.
