Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank inks agreement with NEA; to facilitate inconvenient payment of monthly electricity tariff via its branch network and MoBanking platform

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has inked an agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority to facilitate in payment of the regular electricity bills of the customers via the banking channel.

The agreement was signed between Deputy ED of Distribution and Customer Relations Directorate of NEA Mr. Manoj Silwal and CEO of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Mr. Bodhraj Devkota amid a program.

With the latest agreement, anyone can make payment of their monthly electricity tariff via the bank’s all the branches and mobile banking service without any additional charge in case the monthly tariff totals to Rs 500 or less while with an additional charge of Rs 5 in case the charge is between Rs 501 to Rs 5 lakh, as per the media statement.
