Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Expands CSR Initiatives in Education, Health and Community Development

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has carried out a range of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives focused on education, health, sanitation, environmental protection, cultural preservation, and community development.

The bank supported the construction of modern toilets for female students at several schools in Jhapa, Baglung, Makwanpur, and Chitwan.

It also distributed 80 school bags to underprivileged and deserving students in Kanchanpur, provided a laptop to Simara College in Bara, and supported an adolescent-friendly information centre in Bajhang with healthcare and sports equipment.

In addition, the bank provided dustbins to Bhairavnath Temple in Palpa, supported the construction of an RO-equipped drinking water facility at a school in Makwanpur, and donated a digital whiteboard to a school in Rautahat. These initiatives reflect the bank’s commitment to contributing to education, health, sanitation, and sustainable community development.
