Machhapuchhre Bank Facilitates Vocational Training at Shree Janasewa Secondary School

Machhapuchhre Bank Limited, as part of its corporate social responsibility, successfully organized a one-week vocational training program at Shree Janasewa Secondary (Technical) School in Karjanha, Siraha district. Collaborating with Engineers Without Borders, the initiative aimed to enhance professional and technical knowledge and skills among secondary level students.

The training program, which concluded on the 8th Poush, involved practical sessions conducted within the school premises. Activities included technical training on extracting air gas from cow dung, water filtration techniques, and crafting various decorative items. The program was orchestrated in collaboration with Engineers Without Borders.

Addressing the closing program, Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato, Minister of Forestry and Environment of the Government of Nepal, and former Chairman of Machhapuchhre Bank, emphasized the significance of imparting professional knowledge at the school level. He noted that providing such skills early on would ease students' transition into their chosen fields in the future.

Santosh Koirala, the Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd., highlighted the bank's commitment to corporate social responsibility and outlined the various programs being conducted across the country.
