Machhapuchchhre Bank shuts down its 2 BLB units in Rupandehi; also busts its commercial representatives embezzling the deposit amounts

Machhapuchchhre Bank has closed the operation of its two branchless banking units following the reports of irregularities and mismanagements at its branchless banking service points.

The bank has taken action against the BLB units at Samarimai Gaupalika-5 Rohinihawa of Rupandehi and Lumbini Sanskritik nagarpalika-2 Majahana of Rupandehi managed under its representatives Mr. Niranjan Pathak and Mr. Sikandar Thakur.

The bank has already filed a legal case against these two culprits who have been found not depositing the depositor's amounts at the bank while has urged all the victim depositors to show up and register their case at the respective police stations, as per the media statement.
