Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL), Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Limited (Neps), and Citytech have formalized a groundbreaking collaboration through a tripartite agreement to operate the "Unified Merchant Management Systems (MMS)" known as Get Pay. The agreement, signed by Mr. Sanjib Subba (CEO, Neps), Mr. Sajan Sharma (CEO, Citytech), and Mr. Prashidha Raj Aryal (Deputy General Manager, Machhapuchhre Bank), is poised to revolutionize the payment landscape in Nepal.

The Get Pay MMS, developed in partnership with Neps and Citytech, is designed to streamline the management of various payment devices and networks that are currently dispersed. This initiative aims to simplify the cumbersome process faced by merchants in registering and managing multiple payment devices and networks separately. With the implementation of this system, banks and traders will now have the capability to handle these operations seamlessly through a single, integrated platform.

The agreement underscores the commitment of all three entities to eliminate complexities in merchant registration and management, providing an efficient and unified system for both banks and merchants. This collaborative effort is set to empower banks with enhanced control over transaction-related data, paving the way for the delivery of more sophisticated services to merchants.

The parties involved have expressed their determination to expedite the implementation of Get Pay MMS, ushering in a new era of efficiency and innovation in the Nepali payment ecosystem. The integration of this system is poised to elevate the overall payment experience for merchants and consumers alike.
