Machhapuchchhre Bank Launches Nepal–India Real-Time Cross-Border Transfer via M-Smart App

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has introduced a Nepal–India real-time cross-border fund transfer service through its MBL M-Smart mobile banking app. The service enables instant and secure person-to-person (P2P) money transfers between Nepal and India, enhancing digital financial connectivity between the two countries.

Nepali users in India can send money to Nepal via UPI-enabled apps, while Indian users in Nepal can also transfer funds to India using the app. The system ensures immediate credit to beneficiary accounts, offering a fast and reliable remittance solution. The bank has emphasized security, transparency, and regulatory compliance, and stated its commitment to further expanding customer-centric digital banking services in the future.
