Machhapuchchhre Bank launches its own mobile wallet service Remitap; to provide first of its kind services to its customers

Machhapuchchhre Bank has launched its own mobile wallet service Remitap for its customers.

Unlike existing e-wallet services, users of the Remitapp service can enjoy a range of innovative services such as creating virtual cards, making payments via those cards, and gifting the virtual cards to others, using both individual and merchant services from a single account, and so on. The e-wallet service is also suitable to send and receive remittance amount both in the domestic and international sector directly into the mobile wallet.

The bank currently serves its customers via 160 branches, 156 branchless banking units, 5 extension counters, 197 ATM booths, and more than 1000 POS terminals throughout the nation.
