Machhapuchchhre Bank launches first 360deg remittance e-payment platform in Nepal; Remitap Mobile Wallet to work both as reliable remittance service and efficient mobile wallet

Machhapuchchhre Bank, Times Remit and AMV Tel Company have come together to start Remitap Mobile Wallet service for the ease of Nepalese sending in their remittance and the bank’s customers in Nepal. The first 360 degree remittance e-payment platform of Nepal was launched amid a program on Chaitra 25, 2075. After the launch of the remittance mobile wallet service, Nepalese outside the country can send the remittance amount with more comfort to their friends and families in Nepal, as per the media statement.

The remittance mobile wallet has facilities that include making online merchant payments through Remicard and encrypted virtual money card, sending remittance amount directly to the mobile wallets of recipients in Nepal in a relatively low price, receiving remittance from more than 10 thousand counters in Nepal, delivering domestic remittance, transferring fund from Machhapuchchhre bank accounts to Remitap mobile wallet and vice versa, etc.

The launch event was also attended and addressed by CEO of the bank Mr. Suman Sharma, GM of A.M.V Tel Company Mr. Anil Sharma among others.

The bank currently has 99 branches, 76 branchless banking units and 121 ATM all over Nepal.
