Machhapuchchhre Bank expands QR code-based payment with Nepal Barbers Association; aims to digitize more than 3 lakh salon businesses across the nation

Machhapuchchhre Bank has initiated QR code-based payment system at different businesses associated with Nepal Barbers Association.

The QR codes were handed over to the chairman of the association Mr. Rajaram Thakur by Chief Digital Banking Officer of the bank Mr. Madav Joshi during a program. After the new arrangement, customers can pay for the haircut service at different shops across the nation through their mobile banking services by scanning the bank’s QR code while the merchants can directly receive the funds right at their bank accounts, as per the media statement.
