Machhapuchchhre Bank expands QR code-based payment at Birgunj; takes digital banking service to local fruit and vegetable market
Machhapuchchhre Bank has initiated QR code-based payment system at the fruit and vegetable market of Birgunj.
The QR codes were placed by the director of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Rajan Krishna Pant and Mayor of Birgunj Mr. Vijay Kumar Sarawagi amid a program on Chaitra 11, 2077.
After the new arrangement, customers can pay for their purchases at agro markets through their mobile banking services by scanning MBL’s QR code, as per the media statement.
