Machhapuchchhre Bank expands QR code-based payment at Bageswori Temple at Nepalgunj; takes digital banking service to popular religious site of western city

Machhapuchchhre Bank has initiated QR code-based payment system at the Bageshwori temple of Nepalgunj.

The QR code service was kickstarted by Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari and Mayor of Nepalgunj Mr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana, chairman of the bank Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato, and CEO of the bank Mr. Santosh Koirala amid a program on Baisakh 3, 2078.

After the new arrangement, pilgrims of the temple can make donations and cash offerings to the temple through their mobile banking services by scanning MBL’s QR code, as per the media statement.
