Machhapuchchhre Bank concludes its 20th AGM on 20th Poush; appoints Dr. Birendra Bahadur Mahato as the new chairman

Machhapuchchhre Bank has successfully concluded its 20th AGM on Poush 20, 2075 in Pokhara under the leadership of the chairman of the bank Mr. Roshan K.C. the AGM has endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 10% cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit it had made in the previous fiscal year. The AGM also appointed G.B. Rajbahak and Company as the auditor for the current fiscal period.

Likewise, the AGM also elected Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato, Mr. Roshan K.C., and Mr. Gopi Krishna Neupane into the board from the promoter group. The meeting of the newly formed board then nominated Dr. Mahato as the new chairman of the bank.

The bank had earned a profit of Rs 1.24 arba in the previous FY with its EPS at Rs 15.81. its paid-up capital stood at Rs 8.05 arba with Rs 1.11 arba in its reserve.
