Lumbini General Insurance (LGIL) Proposes 7.35% Dividend for FY 2078/79

Lumbini General Insurance Limited (LGIL) has proposed a 7.35% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79.

The 259th meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 13 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.31 Arba. 7% bonus shares and 0.35% cash dividend have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 9,18,94,918.5 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 45,94,746. The cash dividend has been proposed for the tax amount on bonus shares.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by Beema Samiti and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. LGIL closed at Rs. 382 yesterday.
