Lumbini Bikas Bank extends helping hands to Chitwan based Pithuwa Consumers’ Committee; provides Rs 3 lakh for upgradation of local drinking water and sanitation project

Lumbini Bikas Bank, under its CSR initiative, has handed over financial support of Rs 3 lakh to Pithuwa Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumers’ Committee located at Ratnanagar Nagarpalika-15 Madavpur of Chitwan. The support amount shall be used to upgrade the local drinking water and sanitation project for the broader facility of the local people, as per the media statement.

The support amount was handed over amid a program on Poush 24, 2076 to the chairman of the consumers’ group Mr. Ashik Tamang by CEO of the bank Mr. Naresh Singh Bohora, MD Mr. Dipak Khanal and BM of Tadi branch Mr. Sudarshan Ghimire.

The development bank currently has 66 branches and 16 ATM booths under its network and is in a process to endorse 20% dividend to its shareholders in its upcoming AGM, as per the media statement.
