Low volatility signals Indecisiveness in market; NEPSE gained minimal 5.04 points with Rs 99.45 crore turnover

NEPSE closed at 1,347.44 today after gaining 5.04 points from yesterday's close. 

This is a positive 0.38% uptick from yesterday's close. Overall 8.58 points volatility was witnessed in the trading today, wherein the highest level was 1349.24 and the lowest was 1340.66.

A total of 2,568,124 shares were traded amounting to Rs. 994,545,109 in the turnover amount. 186 scrips were traded via 14,489 transactions.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.10 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 500 per share. It is tailed by NMB Bank Limited in terms of total turnover with a figure of Rs. 6.86 crore. Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited also had the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.

Float is up by 0.45 points and is currently at 94.26. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 284.18 after gaining 1.95 points from the previous close.

A total of six companies, namely NICBF, NICLBSL, NBF2, NSEWA, GGBSL and GLBSL hit a positive circuit today. On the other hand, Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) lost the most 6.67% while closing at Rs. 98 LTP.

5 sectors gained today while 7 others ended red. Hotels gained the most 3.79% and Trading lost the most 1.66%.
