Laxmi Sunrise Bank Partners with IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. to Launch Digital SME Loan Facility

Laxmi Sunrise Bank and IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership to launch a digital lending facility for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Nepal, aiming to modernize and simplify business financing through technology-driven processes.

Under this initiative, SME customers of Laxmi Sunrise Bank will be able to apply for loans digitally, in compliance with the Digital Lending Guidelines issued by Nepal Rastra Bank. The system is designed to reduce traditional paperwork and manual processing by shifting loan applications, verification, and approval workflows into a fully digital environment.

A key requirement of the program is that eligible businesses must use an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and be registered with IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. This allows the lending platform to directly utilize real-time business data generated from ERP systems, enabling more accurate financial analysis and quicker credit decision-making.

IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. will serve as the Technical Service Provider (TSP), supplying the digital infrastructure that connects enterprise data with the bank’s lending system. This integration is expected to significantly speed up loan processing, improve risk assessment, and enhance transparency in credit evaluation.

Overall, the collaboration is aimed at strengthening financial inclusion for SMEs, encouraging adoption of digital business tools, and supporting the broader growth of Nepal’s digital economy. By combining banking expertise with advanced software solutions, the initiative seeks to make SME financing faster, more efficient, and more accessible.
