Laxmi Laghubitta in Dhankuta

KATHMANDU, MAR 21:

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (LLBS) — microfinance subsidiary of Laxmi Bank — has opened its eighth branch at Siduwa of Dhankuta district. The branch and its first micro credit distribution was inaugurated by CEO of LLBS Prakash Raj Sharma. Deposits worth Rs 58,535 was collected from 114 members and lending worth Rs 0.32 million without collateral was distributed to eight members on the first day. It has already provided micro credit totalling Rs 40.83 million to 1495 members and has collected total deposits worth Rs 5.90 million till date.
