Laxmi Laghubitta holds meet

KATHMANDU, JAN 10:
Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha — microfinance subsidiary of Laxmi Bank — held its first AGM on Wednesday. The AGM approved the director’s report along with the financials of last fiscal year. It received operating licence from Nepal Rastra Bank in March 2012 to operate as a national level ‘D’ class financial institution, it said, adding the company commenced operations from Battar branch at Nuwakot district. Total number of affiliated members has reached 1,622 and through five branches, Laxmi Laghubitta has made total loan disbursement of Rs 27.60 million to 833 borrowers.
