Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha branch in Banke

KATHMANDU, MAR 07:

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (LLBS) — microfinance subsidiary of Laxmi Bank — has opened its sixth branch at Kamdi VDC Ward-8 of Banke district. The branch and first micro credit distribution was inaugurated by chief executive officer of LLBS Prakash Raj Sharma amid a function. Deposits worth Rs 0.136 million was collected from 167 members and lending without collateral was distributed to 28 members during the first day of the branch opening, it said. It has already provided micro credit totalling Rs 40 million to 1377 members and has collected total deposits worth Rs 5.30 million till date.
