Laxmi Bank to provide subsidized loan to skill manpower from different local units in Rukum West; furthers bank’s commitment towards betterment of agro sector of the nation

Laxmi Bank signed separate MOU’s with Tribeni and Banphikot Gaupalika of Rukum-West to extend subsidized loans in the agriculture sector to various farmers’ groups, entrepreneurs, firms/companies as well as Cooperatives under recommendation and facilitation of the palika itself. 

The agreement was signed by Mr Dipesh Amatya, Chief- Retail Financial Services on behalf of the Bank whereas the Chairperson Duo Mr. Dharma Bahadur K.C. and Mr. Jhakku Prasad Gharti Magar signed the contract on behalf of Banphikot and Tribeni Gaupalika respectively.

Mr. Ajaya Bikram Shah, CEO of Laxmi Bank Limited expressed that the Bank has always prioritized the Agriculture sector, evident in the establishment of a separate wing dedicated to agriculture financial services. The program was witnessed by Honorable ex-Minister Mr. Janardan Sharma, who shared his views on the agreement and his intention to replicate the same modality in other local units of Rukum.
