Laxmi Bank to promote entrepreneurship among skilled manpower at village level; inks MoU with Thulung Dudhkoshi Gaupalika of Solukhumbu to extend subsidized credit facility

Laxmi Bank has signed MOU with Thulung Dudhkoshi Gaupalika of Solukhumbu,  to extend concessional loans at subsidized rates to various entrepreneurs, firms/companies, as well as Cooperatives under recommendation and facilitation of the palika itself. 

The agreement was signed by Mr. Dipesh Amatya, Chief- Retail Financial Services, on behalf of the Bank and palika chairperson, Mr. Ashim Rai, on behalf of Thulung Dudhkoshi Gaupalika. 

Ajaya Bikram Shah, CEO of Laxmi Bank Ltd. expressed the Bank’s readiness to finance enterprising activities in various potential sectors of the palika like agriculture, tourism, hospitality, etc. The agreement is expected to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment to ultimately help create economically self-dependent palika, as stated in the media statement.
