Laxmi Bank has launched a home loan scheme which will help new home buyers to repay their loans over a period of 25 years or in 300 equal monthly installments (EMI). The increase in repayment tenure has lowered the EMI payments, it said, adding that the base of potential home loan customers can now afford to take a loan because of the lower monthly debt obligation. The enhanced loan tenure will have an impact of 10 per cent on the EMI, the commercial bank said.
